The harbour is one of the most beautiful spots in the centre of Torrevieja. It combines the town's maritime history, a modern promenade, views of the Mediterranean Sea and plenty of opportunities for relaxation. It is an ideal destination for a gentle stroll, sitting down for a coffee or dinner at sunset.

New Paseo del Mar centre

The biggest news for the port is the modern centre Seafront Promenade, opening in June 2026. Located right by the Dique de Levante promenade and pier. Covering an area of over 20,000 m², it offers restaurants, cafés, shops, a cinema, bowling and terraces overlooking the harbour.

You will find here, for example, restaurants and establishments such as Lateral, Sibuya, Saona, Casa Carmen, Foster’s Hollywood, McDonald’s, KFC, Taco Bell, 100 Montaditos, Santa Gloria, Amorino and Ale-Hop. What can you see and experience?

During your visit to the port, we recommend:

• to walk along the long pier Eastern Breakwater,
• watch yachts, fishing boats and life in the harbour,
• visit floating museums including the submarine S-61 Delfín,
• continue along the Paseo Vista Alegre promenade towards the centre,
• enjoy a coffee, ice cream or dinner at Paseo del Mar,
• sit on the terrace with a view of the sea,
• arrive in the evening when the harbour lights up.

Our tip

Start your visit with a walk along the Dique de Levante promenade and pier. Afterwards, stop in the Paseo del Mar centre for dinner or a glass of wine. After dark, the marina has a pleasant Mediterranean atmosphere and is one of the nicest places for an evening get-together in Torrevieja.
